LGN’s environmental attorneys have decades of experience representing clients in litigation and in regulatory proceedings before state and federal agencies.  We are recognized experts in our field and have a proven record of success.

Our environmental practice was established nearly four decades ago when LGN represented property owners in litigation under the federal Superfund law and represented citizens seeking to enforce provisions of the Clean Water Act.  While these cases remain a core component of our environmental practice, we have expanded our expertise to include environmental review, compliance and permitting, redevelopment, and the intersection of energy and environmental law.  Our attorneys are leaders in the field who hold leadership positions with the environmental sections of the State and County bar associations and serve as adjunct professors at the University of Minnesota School of Law.
