Greg Myers litigates complex commercial cases in federal and state court. He has won or successfully resolved matters involving contract disputes, covenants not to compete, employment disputes, defamation claims, complex insurance coverage issues, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and securities laws.
He also has a significant health care law practice in the areas of compliance and privileging and credentialing. He has advised numerous health care providers on complex compliance questions. He has also represented numerous doctors in litigation and privileging disputes. He has represented several doctors facing adverse hospital credentialing actions in internal administrative hearings. He has also represented doctors and administrators facing allegations of fraud, misconduct or noncompliance.
He has represented government entities in contract, land use and tort litigation. He has represented insurers defending against ERISA claims and property and casualty claims, including several AAA arbitration trials. Mr. Myers has also litigated several patent cases to resolution.
Mr. Myers is a 1998 magna cum laude graduate of William Mitchell College of Law, where he served as a staff member and associate editor for the William Mitchell Law Review. Before law school, he worked as a professional journalist for newspapers and other publications in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Rhode Island, Missouri and the Middle East. He received his journalism degree from Marquette University. He has been an adjunct professor of legal writing at William Mitchell since 2004. He chairs the firm's pro bono committee.
