Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry Litigation
Michael J. Vanselow concentrates his practice in the areas of consumer protection, health care, and pharmaceutical and medical device industry litigation. He was a Deputy Attorney General with the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office where he litigated the Office’s highest profile cases and supervised the civil litigation, employment and torts, public utilities, education, Medicaid fraud, tax litigation, consumer enforcement, environmental protection, residential utilities, labor, human rights, corrections and collections Divisions. He was also an equity partner with, and Chair of the Healthcare Litigation Group of, Oppenheimer Wolff & Donnelly. He graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from the University of Minnesota Law School where he was President and Editor-in-Chief of Volume 67 of the Minnesota Law Review. He has handled many complex litigation matters in federal and state district and appellate courts. He has also authored numerous publications, including two books on deposition and appellate practice, and taught pretrial litigation and appellate practice for many years as an adjunct professor at the University of Minnesota Law School and William Mitchell College of Law.
