Joseph Bruckner leads the firm's antitrust department and practices in complex business litigation. He and the firm are regularly appointed lead and co-lead plaintiffs' class counsel by courts in nationwide antitrust litigation. Mr. Bruckner graduated with honors from the Creighton University School of Law, and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Donald P. Lay, then Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He serves the American Antitrust Institute as a Director and Advisory Board Member and serves Strafford Publications and Seminars as an Antitrust Law Advisory Board Member. He is a past chair and emeritus of the Minnesota State Bar Association Antitrust Law Section and is a past president and emeritus of the Committee to Support the Antitrust Laws. He is regularly named a "Super Lawyer" by a peer review of leading Minnesota attorneys. He is a contributor to The International Handbook on Private Enforcement of Competition Law (2010), and Private Enforcement of Antitrust Laws in the United States (2012). He speaks regularly on antitrust and complex litigation at conferences and programs locally and nationwide.
