Elizabeth R. Odette is a 2004 graduate of the University of St. Thomas School of Law. She is a 2001 cum laude graduate of the University of St. Thomas where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing Management. Ms. Odette practices in the firm's complex litigation and class action group with a focus on securities and anti-trust litigation. As a member of the founding class of the St. Thomas Law School she assisted in the creation of Curriculum Standards and founded the Student Newspaper, TommieLaw News. In October 2008, Ms. Odette became president of the Kiwanis Club of Downtown Minneapolis. She is a member of the Federal, Minnesota State and Hennepin County Bar Associations.
Ms. Odette co-authored the article "In re OSB Antitrust Litigation — Class Certification Decisions", published in the ABA Section of Antitrust Law, Sherman Act Section 1 Committee Spring 2008 Newsletter. The article provides an analysis of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania court decision to grant class certification for the In re OSB Antitrust Litigation. Read article on page 18 of newsletter.
Ms. Odette authored "Recent US Criminal Antitrust Developments", published in the ABA Section of Antitrust Law, Sherman Act Section 1 Committee Summer 2009 Newsletter. The article provides a summary of the activities of the Department of Justice in the area of antitrust since the beginning of 2009. Read article on page 8 of newsletter.
Ms. Odette was recently a part of the team that obtained a $3.2 M verdict for the plaintiff in the Zometa Products Liability case Stevens vs. Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp. (Mont. 2009).
She has assisted and continues to assist in research and writing for American Bar Association Antitrust Section legal publications including Antitrust Law Developments and the Price Discrimination Handbook.
