Experience

Matthew S. Schafer is a lobbyist and the firm’s Grassroots Coordinator. Mr. Schafer helps constituents communicate effectively with their elected officials and get results. Mr. Schafer brings more than six years of experience helping shape and influence legislation in the Washington, D.C., nonprofit arena. While employed with the Fleet Reserve Association, he played a key role in implementing aggressive grassroots and media campaigns. Originally from Bear River, Wyoming, Mr. Schafer proudly served four years in the United States Marine Corps as a journalist covering military affairs in Washington, D.C., Okinawa, Japan, and South Korea. Mr. Schafer holds a Bachelors Degree in Internetworking Technology.
