Overview
Jasmine Epps-Flowers brings a strong background in community organizing, project management, and public engagement as a member of the Lockridge Grindal Nauen State and Local Government Relations team. Her expertise and adeptness in navigating complex issues among a wide diversity of perspectives makes her an invaluable asset to the firm’s clients.
Before joining LGN, Ms. Epps-Flowers worked as a community organizer with Seward Neighborhood Group. In this role she advocated for local policy and infrastructure improvements, managed and executed large-scale events, and achieved outstanding results around the shared priorities of Seward constituents—specifically focused on unhoused and BIPOC residents of South Minneapolis. Her professional background also includes work at the State Capitol with the Council for Minnesotans of African Heritage (CMAH), service as the residential business lead at Augsburg University, and two summers as an instructor with Children’s Defense Fund Freedom Schools in St. Paul. In each of these roles, Ms. Epps-Flowers has consistently demonstrated her leadership and deeply rooted passion to promote equity and make a lasting, positive impact in her community through both grassroots mobilization and the legislative process.
Ms. Epps-Flowers graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. from Augsburg University in Political Science, and minors in Sociology and Religion.
