LGN to co-host CLE with The Advocates for Human Rights
Lockridge Grindal Nauen will be co-hosting a CLE session on the topic of labor trafficking alongside The Advocates for Human Rights on Friday September 6th from 9:00-10:30am at our offices in Minneapolis.
The aim of the training, entitled T-visa: Family reunification, TVAP, and elimination of bias will be for attendees to learn about working with T-visa clients and issues incident to the T visa process. It will provide a brief overview of labor trafficking and the immigration relief available for survivors. Speakers will present on the process of family reunification when the qualifying family members live abroad and the Trafficking Victim Assistance Program (TVAP) in Minnesota. Additionally, attendees will learn about cultural sensitivity when working with foreign national clients, especially those having experienced trauma from trafficking.
