Congratulations to LGN’s newest partners, Brian Clark and Kristen Marttila
Lockridge Grindal Nauen is proud to announce that Brian Clark and Kristen Marttila have been named partners at our firm.
Brian D. Clark has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for the past three years and focuses his practice on plaintiffs-side antitrust class actions and e-discovery advice for businesses of all sizes. He leads the firm’s e-discovery practice group, and co-founded and serves on the steering committee for the Complex Litigation E-Discovery Forum, an annual gathering for plaintiffs-side complex litigation attorneys to discuss best practices for e-discovery. Brian has also taught an e-discovery seminar at the University of Minnesota Law School since 2014.
Brian graduated magna cum laude from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2009 where he was elected Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Minnesota Journal of International Law and was a member of the Order of the Coif. While in law school, Brian interned with the Honorable Judge Patrick J. Schiltz of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
Kristen G. Marttila has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for the past three years and was named a North Star Lawyer in recognition of her pro bono work in 2014, 2016, and 2017. She practices primarily in the areas of antitrust, environmental and land use, business law, and health care law. Kristen frequently serves as local counsel in a wide variety of matters, including intellectual property, consumer, and complex ERISA cases.
Kristen graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law with high distinction in 2005, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif, a symposium editor for the Journal of Transnational Law and Contemporary Problems, and was awarded the Boyd Service Medallion for her public interest work. Kristen was a law clerk to the Honorable Patrick J. Schiltz of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota from 2009-2011.
