Consuela Abotsi-Kowu Featured at Midwestern Region of the National Black Law Students Association Convention

We are proud to recognize Consuela Abotsi-Kowu for her contributions to the 57th Midwestern Region of the National Black Law Students Association (MWBLSA) Convention in Chicago!

Consuela served as a judge for the MWBLSA Mock Trial Competition, helping to mentor and evaluate future legal professionals as they honed their advocacy skills.

She also shared her expertise as a panelist on “Bar Exam Power Play – Mastering the Ultimate Test,” a workshop-style discussion featuring MWBLSA alumni aimed at equipping law students with strategies for success as they prepare for the bar exam.

Consuela’s dedication to mentorship and legal excellence exemplifies LGN’s commitment to supporting the next generation of legal professionals.

​MWBLSA is a duly registered regional administrative jurisdiction under the National Black Law Students Association (“NBLSA”).  NBLSA was founded in 1968 with the mission to increase the number of culturally responsible Black and minority attorneys who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community. Abotsi-Kowu and Le Admitted to MN Federal Bar

Two new LGN associates, Consuela Abotsi-Kowu and Kira Le, were admitted last month to the U.S. District of Minnesota Federal Bar.

The Honorable Chief Judge Patrick J. Schiltz presided over their swearing-in ceremony, making it a memorable occasion for everyone present. LGN partners Joe Bourne and Kate Baxter-Kauf moved for their admission during this special event.
