Nate Mussell volunteers in Texas with Samaritan’s Purse
Nate Mussell spent a week volunteering in early August in Rockport, TX with Samaritan’s Purse helping with the rebuilding efforts for houses that were severely damaged during Hurricane Harvey.
In 2017, Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Rockport as a Category 4 hurricane resulting in almost one quarter of the area residents losing their homes to extensive wind and water damage. Samaritan’s Purse has been on the ground in Rockport for over two years providing assistance to area residents both in the immediate aftermath of the storm and in the ongoing efforts to rebuild damaged properties. Samaritan’s Purse is an international Christian Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief Organization currently providing disaster relief and rebuilding efforts to communities across the United States affected by Hurricane Harvey, Hurricane Florence, Hurricane Michael, and most recently providing on-the-ground medical response to communities in the Bahamas devastated by Hurricane Dorian.
