LGN hosts AAI reception in Minneapolis

On May 21, LGN hosted a reception in Minneapolis for the American Antitrust Institute. The AAI is an independent, nonprofit organization which, through research, education and advocacy, promotes the benefits of competition and antitrust enforcement. LGN actively supports the AAI and its mission, and LGN partner Joe Bruckner serves on the AAI’s Board of Directors.

Congratulations to LGN’s Eric C. Tostrud, who was nominated Monday for an opening on the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota

We are especially proud of Eric because of his long association with our firm. Eric joined LGN as a law clerk in 1989. After graduating from William Mitchell College of Law, summa cum laude, in 1990, he served clerkships for the Honorable Edward J. Devitt, U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota, and for the Honorable George E. MacKinnon, U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. He then returned to LGN as an associate from 1992 to 1997 and as a partner until 2014. He has continued with LGN in an Of Counsel role while serving on the full-time faculty at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he teaches in the areas of federal jurisdiction and federal court procedure, as the Distinguished Practitioner in Residence.
