Ted Grindal concludes term as Board Chair of the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society
Ted Grindal concluded his term as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society by presiding over the society’s annual meeting on June 26th in Sioux Falls.
Ted has served on the Sioux Falls-based organization’s board for the past six years. It is the largest non-profit senior services company in the United States with over 200 facilities in 24 states with 20,000 employees. At the meeting the society approved a plan to combine with Sanford Health effective January 1, 2019. If the deal is approved by regulators, it would unite two of Sioux Falls’ biggest employers and create a $6 billion organization with 47,000 employees, a substantial health care and research capacity, and a national network of nursing homes and senior care centers.
