He then returned to LGN as an associate from 1992 to 1997 and as a partner until 2014. He has continued with LGN in an Of Counsel role while serving on the full-time faculty at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, where he teaches in the areas of federal jurisdiction and federal court procedure, as the Distinguished Practitioner in Residence.
